Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tiritaña II by Manuel Rivera was sold in the Get Art ! A 20th Century Escape auction at Christies in Paris in June 2020. It changed hands for a price of EUR 18,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Manuel Rivera have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Espeso para una catedral in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 120,500.00 (€ 157,609.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tiritaña II von Manuel Rivera wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Get Art ! A 20th Century Escape bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 18.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manuel Rivera auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Espeso para una catedral im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 120.500,00 (€ 157.609,27).
