Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Metamorfosis (huella en el espejo no. 6) by Manuel Rivera was sold in the Art Contemporain Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Paris in June 2021. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 30,240.00. Admittedly, works by Manuel Rivera have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Espeso para una catedral in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 120,500.00 (€ 157,609.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Metamorfosis (huella en el espejo no. 6) von Manuel Rivera wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Art Contemporain Day Sale bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 30.240,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manuel Rivera auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Espeso para una catedral im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 120.500,00 (€ 157.609,27).
