Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Manoucher Yektai achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in September this year. In the Post-War to Present auction, the work without title sold for USD 151,200.00 (€ 142,857.14) - well above the upper estimate of USD 70,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Manoucher Yektai; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Still Life sold at auction in May this year with the realized price of GBP 165,500.00 (€ 192,560.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Manoucher Yektai erzielte im September diesen Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War to Present wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 151.200,00 (€ 142.857,14) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 70.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Manoucher Yektai; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Still Life im Mai diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 165.500,00 (€ 192.560,35).
