Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art, which included the work Still Life by Manoucher Yektai. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 35,840.00 (€ 41,530.77), 19% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Manoucher Yektai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life in May this year with an auction result of GBP 165,500.00 (€ 192,560.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life von Manoucher Yektai zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 35.840,00 (€ 41.530,77) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manoucher Yektai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 165.500,00 (€ 192.560,35).
