Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2018 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Louisa Chase for USD 63.00 (€ 55.59). This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Multiples at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 200.00 – 300.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louisa Chase achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans titre in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 5,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2018 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Louisa Chase für USD 63,00 (€ 55,59) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 200,00 – 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louisa Chase erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans titre im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.250,00.
