It achieved a price of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,671.06), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lothar Hempel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Casanova, which sold at auction in October 2010 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,295.24).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.671,06) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Für andere Arbeiten von Lothar Hempel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Casanova beobachtet, die im Oktober 2010 für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.295,24) versteigert wurde.
