Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Richard Wright by Lothar Hempel for GBP 750.00 (€ 850.88). This price was achieved in the auction on paper | online at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lothar Hempel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Casanova in October 2010 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,295.24).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Richard Wright von Lothar Hempel für GBP 750,00 (€ 850,88) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion on paper | online bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lothar Hempel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Casanova im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.295,24).
