Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Plakat (Signale Aus dem Mull) by Lothar Hempel was auctioned at Phillips in London in December 2013. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,014.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lothar Hempel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Casanova, which sold at auction in October 2010 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,295.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Plakat (Signale Aus dem Mull) von Lothar Hempel kam im Dezember 2013 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.014,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lothar Hempel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Casanova beobachtet, die im Oktober 2010 für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.295,24) versteigert wurde.
