Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Düsseldorfer by Lothar Hempel was sold in the Under the Influence auction at Phillips in London in April 2015. The price achieved of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,888.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lothar Hempel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Casanova in October 2010 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,295.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Düsseldorfer von Lothar Hempel wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.888,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lothar Hempel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Casanova im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.295,24).
