Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Cup And Saucer; Spoon Two Works by Liza Lou was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,407.09). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liza Lou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Vessel in October 2010 with an auction result of GBP 289,250.00 (€ 333,509.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Cup And Saucer; Spoon Two Works von Liza Lou kam im September 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.407,09) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liza Lou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Vessel im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 289.250,00 (€ 333.509,79).
