Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Home Before Midnight by Lisa Ruyter. The price achieved of USD 11,875.00 (€ 8,829.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lisa Ruyter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Top of The World in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 50,400.00 (€ 39,273.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2011 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Home Before Midnight von Lisa Ruyter zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 8.829,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lisa Ruyter auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Top of The World im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.400,00 (€ 39.273,75).
