In July 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Marjory Collins 'Verona, New Jersey. Sewing The Edge Of An American Flag At The Annin Flag Company' by Lisa Ruyter for USD 1,625.00 (€ 1,460.02). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Online | New York at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lisa Ruyter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Top of The World in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 50,400.00 (€ 39,273.75).
