Die Arbeit Untitled (MAN) von Kerry James Marshall kam im Januar 2021 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 22.680,00 (€ 25.647,93) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kerry James Marshall erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Past Times im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 21.114.500,00 (€ 18.092.973,44).
