A top price for Kees Verkade - as previously expected
The work Casmira dansant by Kees Verkade was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2011. It changed hands for a price of EUR 49,000.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Casmira dansant is the most expensive artwork by Kees Verkade that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Casmira dansant von Kees Verkade wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 49.000,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Casmira dansant das teuerste Kunstwerk von Kees Verkade, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
