Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Oude Garnalenvisser by Kees Verkade was sold in the Nineteen to Now auction at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2013. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,625.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kees Verkade achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Casmira dansant in May 2011 with an auction result of EUR 49,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Oude Garnalenvisser von Kees Verkade wurde im März 2013 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.625,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kees Verkade erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Casmira dansant im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 49.000,00.
