Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'Elan by Kees Verkade was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2015. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kees Verkade have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Casmira dansant in May 2011 with an auction result of EUR 49,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit L'Elan von Kees Verkade kam im Dezember 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kees Verkade auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Casmira dansant im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 49.000,00.
