Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2013 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now, which included the work Lift by Kees Verkade. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,250.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kees Verkade achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Casmira dansant in May 2011 with an auction result of EUR 49,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2013 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lift von Kees Verkade zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.250,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kees Verkade erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Casmira dansant im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 49.000,00.
