Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Mr. C In Disgrace by Katy Moran for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,036.16). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Katy Moran have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 62,557.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Mr. C In Disgrace von Katy Moran für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.036,16) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Katy Moran auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 62.557,75).
