The work Orton by Katy Moran was sold in the First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in December 2018. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,237.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Katy Moran achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 62,557.75).
