Auction result well in line with expectations
The work moonmen by Katy Moran was auctioned at Phillips in London in December 2019. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,432.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Katy Moran achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 62,557.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit moonmen von Katy Moran kam im Dezember 2019 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.432,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Katy Moran erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 62.557,75).
