A top price for Julia Jacquette - as previously expected
The work Men's Hands (Handshake) by Julia Jacquette was auctioned at Phillips in New York in May 2008. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 16,066.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Men's Hands (Handshake) is the most expensive artwork by Julia Jacquette that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Men's Hands (Handshake) von Julia Jacquette kam im Mai 2008 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 16.066,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden.
