Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jose Dávila was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale - Afternoon Session auction at Phillips in New York in November 2021. It changed hands for a price of USD 27,720.00 (€ 24,559.23) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jose Dávila - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Buildings You Must See Before You Die, which sold at auction in April last year for USD 52,920.00 (€ 50,223.02).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 27.720,00 (€ 24.559,23) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00.
