Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Perfect Lover by Jordan Wolfson was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in October 2015. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 13,987.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jordan Wolfson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 2,016,000.00 (€ 218,989.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Perfect Lover von Jordan Wolfson wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 13.987,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jordan Wolfson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.016.000,00 (€ 218.989,87).
