Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jordan Wolfson was auctioned at Phillips in London in December last year. The price achieved of GBP 75,600.00 (€ 85,345.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jordan Wolfson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in June 2021 for HKD 2,016,000.00 (€ 218,989.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jordan Wolfson kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 75.600,00 (€ 85.345,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 70.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jordan Wolfson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für HKD 2.016.000,00 (€ 218.989,87) versteigert wurde.
