Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Self-Portrait In Mirror #12 by Jonathan Horowitz. The price achieved of USD 35,000.00 (€ 29,416.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jonathan Horowitz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Obama '08 in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 223,500.00 (€ 211,287.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Self-Portrait In Mirror #12 von Jonathan Horowitz zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 29.416,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jonathan Horowitz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Obama '08 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 223.500,00 (€ 211.287,58).
