Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life with Candlesticks by John Graham was auctioned at Christies in London in September this year. The price achieved of USD 25,200.00 (€ 23,809.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Graham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman with Dodecahedron in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 1,609,000.00 (€ 1,095,452.07).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.200,00 (€ 23.809,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Graham erzielen.
