In June 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Queen Of Hearts (Dame Of Elche) by John Graham. The »bidding war« ended at USD 93,750.00 (€ 83,474.31), 56% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Graham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman with Dodecahedron in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 1,609,000.00 (€ 1,095,452.07).

Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Queen Of Hearts (Dame Of Elche) von John Graham zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 83.474,31) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Graham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Woman with Dodecahedron im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.609.000,00 (€ 1.095.452,07).
