In May 2012 Christies in New York held the auction Important American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture, which included the work This Simple Faith Has Made America Great by Jessie Willcox Smith. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jessie Willcox Smith - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work How Doth the Little Busy Bee, which sold at auction in April 2011 for USD 386,500.00 (€ 260,778.62).
