Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
When the work As Light Hits Land (Turquoise And Red #1Mt, Multicolored Sand Sf #1A, Black Ground) by Jennifer Guidi was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2019, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - USD 30,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at USD 100,000.00 (€ 89,694.14). Admittedly, works by Jennifer Guidi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Elements of All Entities (Universe Mandala SF #6G, Green, Black Sand) in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 625,000.00 (€ 553,734.38).
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Als die Arbeit As Light Hits Land (Turquoise And Red #1Mt, Multicolored Sand Sf #1A, Black Ground) von Jennifer Guidi im Mai 2019 bei Sothebys in New York versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – USD 30.000,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit USD 100.000,00 (€ 89.694,14) mehr als dreimal so hoch. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jennifer Guidi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Elements of All Entities (Universe Mandala SF #6G, Green, Black Sand) im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 625.000,00 (€ 553.734,38).
