Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Sun (Yellow and Light Yellow MT, Yellow Sand SF #4T, Yellow Ground) by Jennifer Guidi was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 1,600,000.00 – 2,800,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 1,890,000.00 (€ 210,236.32) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jennifer Guidi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Elements of All Entities (Universe Mandala SF #6G, Green, Black Sand), which sold at auction in November 2021 for USD 625,000.00 (€ 553,734.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Sun (Yellow and Light Yellow MT, Yellow Sand SF #4T, Yellow Ground) von Jennifer Guidi kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 1.600.000,00 – 2.800.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 1.890.000,00 (€ 210.236,32) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Jennifer Guidi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Elements of All Entities (Universe Mandala SF #6G, Green, Black Sand) beobachtet, die im November 2021 für USD 625.000,00 (€ 553.734,38) versteigert wurde.
