Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2013 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Janet Fish for USD 28,125.00 (€ 20,779.46). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Janet Fish achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Five Bertolli Bottles in July last year with an auction result of USD 239,400.00 (€ 234,659.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2013 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Janet Fish für USD 28.125,00 (€ 20.779,46) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Janet Fish erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Five Bertolli Bottles im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 239.400,00 (€ 234.659,87).
