Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 504.00 (€ 737.92). Admittedly, works by James Herbert Snell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The willow pool in July 2020 with an auction result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,692.54).

Die Arbeit A wet day, Glen Lochay, Perthshire von James Herbert Snell kam im April 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 504,00 (€ 737,92) einen neuen Besitzer.
