Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 896.25 (€ 1,305.72). Admittedly, works by James Herbert Snell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The willow pool in July 2020 with an auction result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,692.54).
