A top price for James Herbert Snell - as previously expected
The work The willow pool by James Herbert Snell was sold in the British & European Art auction at Christies in London in July 2020. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,692.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The willow pool is the most expensive artwork by James Herbert Snell that we have observed at auctions so far.
