It achieved a price of GBP 660.00 (€ 974.37), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 32%. Admittedly, works by James Herbert Snell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The willow pool in July 2020 with an auction result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,692.54).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 660,00 (€ 974,37) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 32%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von James Herbert Snell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The willow pool im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.692,54).
