This artwork by Ivan Tovar achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in November 2019. In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work La Rage De Convaigre sold for USD 81,250.00 (€ 73,736.27) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ivan Tovar - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Menace, which sold at auction in May 2020 for USD 250,000.00 (€ 225,265.81).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ivan Tovar erzielte im November 2019 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit La Rage De Convaigre für USD 81.250,00 (€ 73.736,27) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ivan Tovar mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Menace beobachtet, die im Mai 2020 für USD 250.000,00 (€ 225.265,81) versteigert wurde.
