Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Justine (2), 1976 by Ivan Tovar was auctioned at Artcurial in October 2012. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 19,306.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ivan Tovar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Menace in May 2020 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 225,265.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Justine (2), 1976 von Ivan Tovar kam im Oktober 2012 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 19.306,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ivan Tovar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Menace im Mai 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 225.265,81).
