This artwork by Ivan Tovar achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2015. In the Moderna auction, the work "Un Dieu Insatisfait" sold for SEK 425,000.00 (€ 45,424.21) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ivan Tovar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Menace in May 2020 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 225,265.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ivan Tovar erzielte im April 2015 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Moderna wurde die Arbeit "Un Dieu Insatisfait" für SEK 425.000,00 (€ 45.424,21) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 200.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ivan Tovar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Menace im Mai 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 225.265,81).
