The work Guerilla Tactic I by Hubert Schmalix was sold in the Modern Art / Kunst nach 45 auction at Ketterer in Hamburg in April 2008. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,440.00 20% above the estimate. Admittedly, works by Hubert Schmalix have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vine tendril. in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 7,500.00.
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Guerilla Tactic I von Hubert Schmalix wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion Modern Art / Kunst nach 45 bei Ketterer in Hamburg versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.440,00 und damit 20% über dem Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hubert Schmalix auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vine tendril. im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.500,00.
