Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Un ensemble de trois huiles sur toile by Hubert Schmalix for EUR 1,375.00. This price was achieved in the auction Collection Jean-Paul Jungo at Christies in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Hubert Schmalix have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vine tendril. in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 7,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Un ensemble de trois huiles sur toile von Hubert Schmalix für EUR 1.375,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Collection Jean-Paul Jungo bei Christies in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hubert Schmalix auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vine tendril. im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.500,00.
