All signed, dated, numbered 20/40 in pencil, Arcs Within a Square annotated 'A', and Triangles Within a Square annotated 'B' in pencil, further stamp-numbered '20 A' and '20 B' respectively on the justifications (of the edition of 40 only 20 were published as sets, Baro calls for sets including 7 and 8 prints respectively), published by Leslie Waddington Prints, London, all unframed.

Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Arcs Within a Square; and Triangles Within a Square (B. 56-62, 71-74) by Gordon House was worth GBP 3,780.00 (€ 4,302.01) to a buyer in September last year. This price was achieved in the auction Evening & Day Editions at Phillips in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Gordon House; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Diagonal Quarter Red Screen, 1960 sold at auction in March 2015 with the realized price of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,530.21).

Die Arbeit Arcs Within a Square; and Triangles Within a Square (B. 56-62, 71-74) von Gordon House war einem Käufer im September letzten Jahres GBP 3.780,00 (€ 4.302,01) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Evening & Day Editions bei Phillips in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 um ein Vielfaches.
