Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gordon House could be acquired at Sothebys in London in March 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Made in Britain auction, the work Diagonal Quarter Red Screen changed hands for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,846.39) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Gordon House have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2015 by the work Diagonal Quarter Red Screen, 1960 at GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,530.21).
