Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work A collection of prints in various media, 1976-1980, comprising Manuscript Red (illustrated), Manx Yellow, Series 8 - Vertical Tri Motif E, Series 8 - Vertical Tri Motif J, Series 8 - Vertical Tri Motif H and A Still Life at Millbank, on wove papers, each by Gordon House was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2007, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00, of which not even the low Admittedly, works by Gordon House have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Diagonal Quarter Red Screen, 1960 in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,530.21).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit A collection of prints in various media, 1976-1980, comprising Manuscript Red (illustrated), Manx Yellow, Series 8 - Vertical Tri Motif E, Series 8 - Vertical Tri Motif J, Series 8 - Vertical Tri Motif H and A Still Life at Millbank, on wove papers, each von Gordon House im Juni 2007 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
