A top price for Gordon House - as previously expected
The work Diagonal Quarter Red Screen, 1960 by Gordon House was sold in the Made In Britain auction at Sothebys in London in March 2015. The result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,530.21) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Diagonal Quarter Red Screen, 1960 is the most expensive artwork by Gordon House that we have observed at auctions so far.
