The work Dormeuses by Ghada Amer was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2018. It achieved a price of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 49,811.79), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 46%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ghada Amer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (The Big Blue Expression Painting BBEP), which sold at auction in October 2006 for GBP 120,000.00 (€ 179,290.69).

Die Arbeit Dormeuses von Ghada Amer kam im März 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 49.811,79) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ghada Amer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (The Big Blue Expression Painting BBEP) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für GBP 120.000,00 (€ 179.290,69) versteigert wurde.
