signed, dated `1982' and `83' respectively and numbered 12/20 and 5/20 respectively in black ink (Bouquet Anvers faded), Bouquet Anvers with the colors attenuated, otherwise both generally in very good condition, both framed.

Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ger van Elk could be acquired at Phillips in New York in October 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Evening & Day Editions auction, the work Bouquet Anvers; and Altmaer changed hands for USD 2,250.00 (€ 1,655.14) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ger van Elk achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2011 with an auction result of EUR 20,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ger van Elk konnte im Oktober 2013 bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Evening & Day Editions wechselte die Arbeit Bouquet Anvers; and Altmaer für USD 2.250,00 (€ 1.655,14) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ger van Elk erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.000,00.
