Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Orange Blanche Bleue (Orange White Blue) by Ger van Elk. The price achieved of EUR 10,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Ger van Elk have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2011 the work without title was auctioned for EUR 20,000.00.

Im November 2019 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Orange Blanche Bleue (Orange White Blue) von Ger van Elk zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Ger van Elk konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2011 die Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 20.000,00 versteigert.
