Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Her Closet by Frank Moore was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2008. It achieved a price of USD 23,750.00 (€ 15,263.50), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frank Moore - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Patient, which sold at auction in March 2018 for USD 62,500.00 (€ 50,730.52).

Die Arbeit Her Closet von Frank Moore kam im Mai 2008 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 15.263,50) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Für andere Arbeiten von Frank Moore mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Patient beobachtet, die im März 2018 für USD 62.500,00 (€ 50.730,52) versteigert wurde.
