Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Radio Pudding (for Joe Brainard) by Frank Moore was auctioned at Phillips in London in June last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 504.00 (€ 585.50) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Moore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Patient in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 50,730.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Radio Pudding (for Joe Brainard) von Frank Moore kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 504,00 (€ 585,50) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frank Moore erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Patient im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 50.730,52).
