Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Study for Beacon I by Frank Moore was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September 2017. It achieved a price of USD 3,500.00 (€ 2,962.84), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Moore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Patient in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 50,730.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Study for Beacon I von Frank Moore kam im September 2017 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.500,00 (€ 2.962,84) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frank Moore erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Patient im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 50.730,52).
